Subject: Copying and renaming OS file via code

Hello All,

I am working on a project that will update the default set of Sametime statuses for our users. For instance, instead of just showing "I am away", we'd like to add a few custom statuses such as "I am away - working from home today". I know that this can be done manually by simply editing the status messages and Notes will remember them. However, we want to automate the roll out of a standard set of 4-5 additional statuses for all users. Through research, Ive found that the statuses are stored in a local file named "CN=UserName_O=xxxxx.xml". I want to create the standard set and save them into a file (i.e. "CN=StandardSet_O=xxxx.xml") then automated the process of copying this file to each users machine via a button, renaming the existing users file, and renaming this copied file to the name that was just renamed so that it becomes the new user file. So, if CN=JohnDoe_O=France.xml was the existing file, I want to rename that to CN=JohnDoe_O=France.old and rename the copied file from CN=StandardSet_O=xxxx.xml to CN=JohnDoe_O=France.xml

Of course Id be looking to pull the name from Notes (CN=xxxxx).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
